GOOD AND BAD DAY

Lou started the day off rough. She was constipated yesterday and last night vomited. This morning she was still very nauseous and took several nausea pills. She felt terrible and I gave her two sennalax with her pain pill this morning. She couldn't eat any breakfast and slept most of the morning. She ate a little lunch in her recliner and I ate my lunch with her.

This morning we got to watch the gobbler show who is boss by strutting around the front yard. My photo isn't good but you can see him fan his tail. He put on quite a show. The hens didn't seem too impressed.

The hospice nurse came at 2 and helped with new pills and the promise of more help. Lou is using disposable undergarments now and they will supply them for her. Also Ensure will be supplied but Lou doesn't like the sweet taste. After she left Lou got over the constipation in a big way. We changed about 6 of the disposables in a short time. She took extra pain pills tonight because she was hurting. I hope that the pain pills will let her sleep better than last night when we were up every hour.
